Miss Neelam Potdar is a highly educated, trusted, and skilled consultant gynaecologist who specialises in fertility care optimisation. Her practice focus and interests center on IVF, endometriosis, fibroids, heavy periods, menopause and HRT, polycystic ovarian syndrome and reproductive endocrinology.
She is a skilled laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeon, with clinical privileges at leading medical institutions including Spire Leicester Hospital, and Leicester Fertility Centre, where she is the clinical lead for the Fertility Unit. Miss Potdar completed her MD at the University of Leicester in 2010, with Fellowship (subspecialist) accreditation by the RCOG in Reproductive Medicine, and extensive training in advanced hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery.
She went on to achieve an MSc in 2014 from the University of Leicester. Miss Potdar is an honorary associate professor at the University of Leicester. Her academic endeavours and research interests include male subfertility, oxidative stress, early pregnancy, and implantation problems. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has also presented at various national and international conferences.
