After earning his medical degree from Athens Medical School in 2002, Mr. Pollalis completed his trauma and orthopaedic training in Athens and Oxford, gaining comprehensive experience in both elective and emergency orthopaedics. He further honed his expertise through advanced fellowships at prestigious institutions. His fellowship at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford allowed him to work with the designer group of the Oxford Partial Knee Replacement, acquiring unparalleled expertise.
He also completed high-volume fellowships at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, known for its excellence in joint replacement, and the Royal Berkshire Hospital, where he gained additional experience in managing complex joint and bone conditions, including metastatic bone disease. A dedicated researcher, Mr. Pollalis has published and presented extensively on hip and knee disorders and enhanced recovery after surgery, contributing significantly to advancements in orthopaedic care.
