Dr Syed Asad Hussain is a leading consultant rheumatologist and general physician in Greater Manchester who is an expert in treating inflammatory joint disease, osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal disorders, back pain, gout, hypertension and chest pain. He also specialises in joint and soft tissue steroid injections.
Dr Hussain graduated from the Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, Imperial College London in 1995. He won the undergraduate prize of Certificate of Merit in Biochemistry and Immunology. He underwent his specialist training in rheumatology and general medicine in the Mersey region. Dr Hussain completed his MD at the Clinical Biochemistry Metabolic Bone Unit Liverpool University. He was elected Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians London in 2009.
