Mr Tom Yeoman is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in all aspects of hand and wrist surgery in York. Mr Yeoman specialises in the treatment of arthritis of the hand and wrist, hand and wrist pain, the treatment of Dupuytren’s contracture, trigger finger, tendon injuries, and peripheral nerve entrapments including carpal tunnel syndrome. He privately practises at Nuffield Health York Hospital and at Clifton Park Hospital, while his NHS base is York Teaching Hospital.
Mr Yeoman graduated from the University of Dundee with an MBChB in 2010, having previously earned a BSc (Hons) in Anatomical Science from the University of Manchester. He completed his specialist training on the highly regarded Edinburgh Orthopaedic training rotation, where he gained his FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) from the Royal College of Surgeons.
He further honed his skills during a 12-month ortho-plastic hand fellowship and a 6-month fellowship in hand and wrist surgery at Wrightington Hospital, where he trained under leading figures in the field of upper limb surgery.
