He began his medical journey in Mumbai, India, where he completed his medical degree and pursued further training in general surgery. His passion for heart surgery led him to specialise in cardiothoracic surgery, gaining significant experience across prestigious medical centres in India, the UK, and the USA.

In the UK, Mr Dandekar advanced his training through the West Midlands programme and honed his skills at world-class institutions such as Harefield Hospital. Additionally, he further refined his expertise at the globally renowned Cleveland Clinic in the USA, working under the leadership of Dr Delos Cosgrove, one of the world’s foremost cardiac surgeons.
