Mr Vikas Khanduja is a top-class, highly proficient, and well-regarded consultant orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in hip replacement, arthroscopy of small joints, knee replacement, ACL reconstruction, knee arthroscopy, as well as joint replacement. He is now practising at the Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital, the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital, and The Wellington Hospital

Mr Khanduja, who officially qualified as a doctor in 1997, also possesses expertise in joint replacement and hip arthroscopy, successfully obtained his basic surgical training in London before receiving his higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics on the North Thames circuit (Royal London Hospital Rotation) in London, gaining the FRCS (Orth) in 2005. Following this, he would then undertake his sub-specialty training fellowships in both knee and hip surgery in London, Cambridge, Zurich and New York.

Mr Khanduja is an active and committed researcher, and his work can be viewed on Google Scholar as well as Pubmed. His main research interests include disease stratification of femoroacetabular impingement through the use of imaging techniques. He has, to-date, authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles and two books, and is the recipient of the American and British Hip Society Travelling Fellowship in 2011, the Arnott Medal presented by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2013, and the Insall Fellowship presented by the American Knee Society and Insall Foundation in 2014.
