Mr Yousri Afifi is a highly experienced consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 25 years of expertise in advanced laparoscopic and reproductive surgeries. He practises at The Harborne Hospital.
Holding a PhD from the University of Birmingham, he has undergone extensive specialised training in minimally invasive techniques. As the director of the Birmingham Endometriosis Centre and the lead consultant for the reproductive surgery unit at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, Mr Afifi is a leading authority in his field. He is widely recognised for managing complex cases of endometriosis, infertility, fibroids, recurrent miscarriages, and ovarian disorders, receiving referrals from across the region and nation.
A pioneer in the field, Mr Afifi introduced the technique of ovarian tissue autografting for patients undergoing ovary removal surgeries.
