Mr Nawaz completed his schooling at St Paul’s School, Barnes, he graduated from the Imperial College and went on to complete his orthopaedic training on the prestigious London training rotation, with an additional year of experience in plastic surgery. He undertook his fellowship training at the world-renowned Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, undergoing comprehensive training in joint reconstruction. He also received fellowship level training in major trauma and complex limb reconstruction in various specialist centres including St Peter’s/Rowley Bristow Unit and the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Canada.

After completing his fellowship training, he became a locum consultant surgeon at Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. He is currently a Consultant at Frimley Park Hospital and their regional Orthopaedic Trauma Lead for the South London and Surrey Trauma Network and one of their leading revision joint replacement surgeons. As well as having a keen interest in research and education, Mr Nawaz frequently publishes on all aspects of hip, knee and trauma surgery. He has also given lectures both nationally and internationally and has presented many times at the American and European International Congresses.
