Mr Shalaby was professional yet approachable. He gave lots of information and I was the lucky recipient of his skill set. My operation and recovery are a success. The Spire and staff were efficient and professional too.

Excellent care from surgeon , but the nursing care very poor. Very little interaction with staff as they very rarely came to my room. Have had treatment here in the past, and had a better experience. Nursing staff had issues with English language.

Dr Shalaby was great. From the first appointment where we went over xray/ mri he was incredibly helpful, thorough and informative. This made me feel comfortable as I could see he knew what was wrong and how to fix it. Operation went really well and he has had great communication

In the initial consultation, not all of the information was passed on in the post consultation letter - it wasn't possible to remember everything so I think better note taking would be appreciated. Booking appointments at the Spire Murrayfield over the phone was very annoying.
