Following 2 years of knee pain and only being referred for an xray which obviously didn’t show the torn meniscus, I had an arthroscopy three weeks ago. Immediately the pain had gone, improved sleeping and walking totally normally back out with my dog again. Signed up to the gym yesterday and intend to get fit again - shame I couldn’t have seen Mr Trikha 2 years ago - was definitely 2 stone lighter then. Thank you very much - one happy patient!

From initial consultation, through decision making, surgery and after-care Mr Trikha was an exemplary surgeon.
He carefully listened to my concerns and questions and answered all of them. He explained the pros and cons of knee replacement honestly and with clarity. I came out of surgery and into physio with no pain. I'm now 4 weeks post surgery, walking largely without sticks and improving each day.
My experience was wholly positive and I can't reccomend Mr Trikha highly enough.

Went to see Mr Trikha after many years of knee issues. Advice on actions possible was honest and straight forward after scans and X-rays taken. Decided on full knee replacement and had operation on 4th Jan 2023. Service and attention from Mr Trikha and His Team at Runnymede hospital was excellent before during and post operation. Self actions required by me during rehabilitation process were clear and precise and following these has enabled me to be discharged under 3 weeks after operation.
Still work to do to strengthen but I couldn’t be happier with the advice, care and the result achieved. Would highly recommend MR Trikha as a consultant surgeon, no messing about just clear quick and precise action in correcting this long term issue

I fell whilst on holiday in Dorset smashed my patella into multiple pieces and detached my anterior cruciate ligament.I was recommended to return home to Woking as I would have a long wait for surgery in Dorset.
I returned home on Friday evening and contacted Mr Trikha's secretary who arranged an appointment for me on Monday.
Mr Trikha saw me Monday evening immediately took X-rays phoned his Secretary and extended his private list on that Wednesday to perform the surgery.He was decisive and acted in my interest immediately, inconveniencing himself in doing so.Everything was fully explained to me and I understood the procedure I was to under go with all risks and outcomes.
The surgery went exactly as he had planned and even straight afterwards I required no pain medication and everything healed perfectly.Eight weeks later I can walk again and drive the car.I cannot thank him enough for his care and professionalism.His immediate action saved me from a longer period of pain and immobility. I cannot recommend him enough.

I had a great experience with Dr Trikha.
I had a cartilage problem with my left knee which had been causing me pain for some time which was restricting my activities generally. He diagnosed this immediately and gave me confidence that he could remedy this quickly and easily. All went very well and i had no pain after the Key hole surgery.
Dr Trikha demonstrated to me that he is an outstanding expert in his field, a great Surgeon who maintains a good relationship with his patients.
I would thoroughly recommend Dr Trikha to anyone with knee problems.

I have had issues with my Knee on and off from an accident I sustained riding. I was recommended to Paul Trikha via a friend of mine who had, had surgery with him. He listened to my issues and examined where he thought the issue was coming from. A scan confirmed he was spot on with his diagnosis. I chose non operative treatment in the form of a steroid injection and physio. I am now back in the saddle. Brilliant !

I saw Mr Trikha in Clinic when i started to get knee pain out of the blue. I was really worried that I would have to have surgery and that my knee would stop me doing my job properly.
~In clinic Mr Trikha was really kind and gave my knee a thorough examination and I was really glad he seemed to be taking my worry seriously.
Mr Trikha ordered for me to have an MRI scan which I had a couple of weeks later and he saw me in clinic again with the result. Unfortunately it did seem as if I had developed arthritis and he talked it all through with me in relation to where the arthritis was and how that was making the pain in my knee when I walked.
Mr Trikha advised me all about exercise and lifestyle activities etc and how an exercise bike would be a good thing for me to have and use regularly during the week. we discussed a swimming plan that would help me to strengthen my muscles to support my knee joint, - all these things were to help me manage my pain and to avoid me having to have any surgery for as long as possible.
I was also given a knee brace which I have used when walking distances and I use it whenever the pain gets worse.
This exercise plan and the brace made a big difference to me and my pain got better and much more manageable. I now have been discharged from Mr Trikha's clinic as my knee is almost completely better unless I walk too far, too fast, up hills etc. I am so pleased to have had this help and support as this whole episode had upset me thinking I was getting old and starting to need joint replacement surgery.
I would and have recommended Mr Trikha to anyone with knee issues for his help.

Went to see mr Trikha with my squash injury. Really clear treatment plan for my meniscul tear- physio and exercises. Back playing squash today after 2 months and no surgery !!

I took my daughter to see Paul who gave advice on her anterior knee pain - she was thoroughly assessed and was advised by Mr Trikha that a majority of the issues will be resolved when she finishes growing. He advised that a bio mechanical assessment by a podiatrist would be good and insoles with lateral wedging would help.
My Trikha took time to explain to my daughter what the issues were and took away any anxiety she had with her natural biomechanics

I injured my right knee last year after a fall and tore my knee crucial ligament and a ‘root’ tear which I think was causing the pain.
I was in a lot of pain but did not want surgery. I saw Paul for a second opinion having seen a doctor who told me the only option was surgery. Mr Trikha was so kind and explained the different ways to help and he organised a brace for me which was amazing and also some physiotherapy who also reassured me that surgery wasn’t the only way to treat me. I’m doing so much better now and use the brace for exercise.
Really pleased that I have my life back - thank you so much

Paul was brilliant and accessible at all times for any questions I had ahead of the surgery. After 2 weeks I was on a static bike and with good post op physio support I’m probably stronger than before the injury.

My experience with Paul Trikha has been excellent. Knowledgeable and definitely focuses on the outcomes best suited to the patient. I would recommend him if you are looking for a knee specialist.
