Dr Sujay Chandran is a distinguished consultant interventional cardiologist based in London who specialises in adult cardiology. His areas of expertise include chest pain, hypertension, breathlessness, arrhythmia and palpitations, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, and a range of cardiac diagnostic tests including electrocardiograms, ambulatory ECG monitoring, echocardiograms, cardiac CT, coronary angiography and cardiac MRI.

Notably, Dr Chandran is highly proficient in complex percutaneous coronary interventions, particularly chronic total occlusions, bifurcations, and rotational atherectomy. Over the course of his career, Dr Chandran has performed over 1,500 percutaneous coronary interventions, demonstrating his expertise and confidence in handling intricate and high-risk procedures.

Currently, Dr Chandran practises as a consultant at Kingston and St Thomas’ Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is also an educational and clinical supervisor. He has served as an investigator for several cardiovascular research trials, presented at international conferences, authored publications in various high-impact journals, and written chapters for medical textbooks. He holds esteemed fellowship to the Royal College of Physicians.
