Mr Chris Peach is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in Cheshire, who specialises in treating disorders of the shoulder and elbow, and traumatic injuries of the entire upper limb. His area of expertise lies within arthroscopic surgery, which enhances the rapid recovery of sports injuries.
Mr Peach graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine and trained as an orthopaedic surgeon in London, Oxford and the North West. He spent two years undertaking a post-graduate research degree at the University of Oxford, after being awarded the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England Research Fellowship, and examined the genetic basis of osteoarthritis of the shoulder.
In 2013 Mr Peach was awarded the British Elbow and Shoulder Society’s North American Elbow Fellowship to further develop his experience in complex elbow surgery in the USA. Mr Peach is the founder of the Cheshire Shoulder and Elbow Clinic, who were recently awarded the best sports injury therapy specialists in the North West at the 2018 Private Healthcare Awards. The clinic was also awarded as the leader in sports injury treatment in North West England in 2019.
Mr Peach continues to teach arthroscopic skills on national courses for surgeons in training.
