I would like to express my gratitude to Mr Ben Spiegelberg and his team for the great job he did with my knee (partial knee operation of my left knee).

After suffering for long, he saw my pain and managed to expedite my appointment due to a cancellation. The aftercare has been great as well as all the advice and it seems to be healing as best as it possible can. Would definitely recommend Dr Spiegelberg. In my opinion he is one of the best doctors I’ve come across and probably ever will!

NHS Patient - operation date 16th October 2024.
I had a total hip replacement on NHS at One Hatfield Hospital on 16th October 2024 carried out by Consultant Mr Ben Spiegelberg who was very professional and explained the whole procedure from my first meeting until my discharge on 28th November 2024. I could not be any happier with the outcome and have only had a slight stiffness when getting out of bed in the morning, but this wears off in five minutes when I start moving around. In my case I only required a mild pain killer, paracetamol, occasionally through my rehabilitation. My wound has healed well and is very neat.
During the whole process I received excellent treatment from all the staff and would have no problems recommending both the Consultant and hospital.

I had the best care possible. Mr Spiegelberg was at all times very professional and informative from our first meeting to my discharge appointment today.
I felt reassured at all times and confident I was in good hands. I couldn't be more pleased with my new hip. I have experienced only slight discomfort but no pain to speak of. The wound has healed amazingly.
I could not fault any part of my care or the procedure.
I want to point out I was seen at One Hatfield Hospital, where I had my operation. There is nowhere to choose this option in the form below

I had a total hip replacement at Spire Bushey hospital on October 8th using robotic assisted surgery. I absolutely recommend this consultant - he is very professional, easily approachable - and he explains every stage of the process very clearly. My operated hip was weight bearing almost immediately - and my mobility returned quickly too. Also, I have a neat scar, which has healed quickly. Very impressed.

I had a full left Robotic hip replacement on the 8th October 2024 at Spire Bushey. It was six weeks yesterday and i have to say i feel like a new man! I would not have beleived that after just six weeks i am able to walk, do my exercises and drive the car without any pain! I would highly recommend Ben Spiegelberg.

Mr Spielberg has given me a new lease of life with a full hip replacement. He has a fantastic bedside manner and makes you feel totally at ease. The procedure was faultless with minimal pain and a scar that is so neat and tidy. I had no after effects and no infections. He has not only met my expectations but exceeded them. I have no hesitation on recommending him. A first class surgeon.

I am absolutely delighted with the results following my complete hip replacement as am now pain free and can move easily.
Mr Spiegelberg was very approachable and took a lot of care throughout the whole process. He took time to explain what was happening, to reassure me and made me feel at ease.
I was very well looked after by all the team at the Spire Bushey.

Absolutely delighted with the results of my new hip. Mr Spiegelberg and his team have taken the utmost care and listened to what I hope to achieve for the future. My rehabilitation has been remarkable and exceeded my expectations of what I could achieve physically.
Should I have any other issues with hips or knees in the future, I will definitely be coming back to Mr Spiegelberg. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
